Shri Balaji Sugars & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is actively contributing to India’s clean energy goals by establishing a 200 KLPD (Kilo Liters per Day) ethanol distillery adjacent to its existing sugar mill. This project represents a forward-thinking step in utilizing byproducts efficiently while reducing environmental impact.
The distillery will produce first-generation (1G) ethanol from cane syrup and molasses, a byproduct of sugar processing, thereby maximizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.
